The process of piecing the image together, turning over each part to reveal a section of text. Can you voice them within your head? Can you hear my voice speaking the words to you? These are fragments of thoughts that McPhee has accumulated. The same process applies to the construction of the image.

Kevin McPhee lives and works in Edinburgh. Upon graduating from Duncan of Jordanstone, Dundee in 2005 he joined the committee for Generator projects (an artist-run exhibition space). He is also about to undertake a 6 week residency at Oberpfälzer Künstlerhaus, Germany from Oct – Dec 2009.
